Runwayskiln cafeFor when the boat comes in...
Please note our menu and star dishes will be live soon! Follow us on Facebook for updates!
Expect to see plenty of locally caught, well presented fish and seafood alongside café favourites, light lunches, sandwiches, home made cakes and savouries and of course, excellent coffees and loose leaf teas.
Relax inside by the cosy log burner after a good long walk or take a table outside near one of our smouldering fire pits, gaze out to the horizon and the islands and tuck into a plate of the freshest seafood.
Using local, fresh ingredients, we can make sure the food lives up to our own high standards, and yours of course!
If travelling in Marloes, or Pembrokeshire, make sure you visit us and try our exciting food menu.
FREsh & local fish
Fish from the waters we overlook? It would be rude not to!
Delivered to us by the people who have caught it. You will taste the difference.
VEGGIE & VEGAN
Our pakoras have a loyal following... Spiced cauliflower and onion fritters, shredded beetroot slaw, pickles, sour cream and coriander.
Please let us know your dietary requirements and we will do our best to meet them!
IN THE THICK OF IT
We can't take credit for the location. We can tell you about it.
Runwayskiln is right on the coast path, next to birdwatching hub Marloes Mere and overlooking Skokholm Island and Marloes Sands.
It will humble and inspire you.
We are licensed and we are keeping it local.
Gethin's Pembrokeshire Cyder, Harbwr Brewery Tenby and Snowdon Craft Lager (okay - that's a bit less local) are supplying our summer favourites.
A PLACE TO RELAX
This is a place to refuel and replenish.
Runwayskiln cafe's easy, informal atmosphere makes it a popular place for a quick refuel (we have delicious range of cakes, including gluten free options) and leisurely lunches.
Award Winning Location
AMAZING TEA & Coffee
Many of our dishes are naturally gluten free, or can be made so on request. We have options for people with vegan and vegetarian diets too. If you have some other specific dietary requirements, please let us know and we will do our very best to accommodate you.
ACCESS, parking & facilities
Runwayskiln is in a conservation area and is accessed on foot/paw (with an exception only for Blue Badge holders). This is important - we want Runwayskiln to be a quiet place for wildlife, for us and for you.
We are 150 metres from the National Trust car park at Marloes Sands and parking charges apply from 1st March to 31st October. The Marloes Sands car park is free to NT members, £6 for a day ticket (non-members) or £3 for up to 3 hours (non-members). Charges apply until around 17:00.
Paying for parking? Make the most of your ticket! It can also be used at Martin's Haven (the embarkation point for Skomer and Skokholm).
Blue Badge holders are invited to use the small private car park at the end of Runwayskiln... Just drive through the Marloes Sands car park and head down our track. If your mobility needs are significant, please use the courtyard as a drop-off point. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like more information.
The W.C. facilities are the National Trust toilet block on the track (yes, we really are that rustic).
Runwayskiln cafe will re-open on
